On Wednesday, October 9, students in grades 9-11 will be taking part in a schoolwide testing day. There will be no school for Seniors on this day.
- Frosh will be taking the Digital PSAT 8/9
- The PSAT 8/9 establishes a baseline measurement of college and career readiness as students enter high school.
- It provides an early opportunity to preview the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, and PSAT 10 and connects students to AP courses for which they show potential.
- Results give students, parents, and educators detailed feedback on areas of strength and areas for improvement.
- Sophomores and Juniors will be taking the Digital PSAT/NMSQT
- The PSAT/NMSQT is digital and the test is easier to take, shorter, has more time per question, and comes with a built-in calculator. It can also qualify you for the National Merit Scholarship Program and other scholarships.
- It's the first step to a free, personalized SAT study plan. Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy® uses a student’s PSAT/NMSQT score to create a customized SAT study plan with sample questions that focus on areas where they need help (satsuite.collegeboard.org).
