Philosophy of the Department of Athletics
It is the philosophy of the Department of Athletics, as espoused by the Director of Athletics and the entire coaching staff, to foster mutual respect among participants, instill a commitment to excellence within each athlete and to promote team unity, cooperation and self-discipline. Further, individual athletes are encouraged to become the finest athlete possible, learning life-long team-building skills and how to discern the appropriate value of sports.
OLP remains at the forefront of athletic recognition with 20 competitive CIF interscholastic athletic teams and four Club Sport teams.
Archery, lacrosse, sand volleyball, softball, swim and dive, and track and field tryouts begin soon. Click here for more information and tryout dates. Registration for Spring Sports is now closed. If you have any questions regarding the athletic clearance process, please email Coach Blackbourn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All student-athletes must have a current physical on file and register online prior to any athletic participation, including practice or competition.
