Chapel Restoration

OLP's beloved Chapel serves as a spiritual sanctuary for students, alumnae, parents and our community. Since opening its arched doors in 1927, the OLP Chapel has been home to liturgical celebrations, weddings, baptisms and memorials, as well as quiet moments of reflection. It is truly an integral part of the OLP community – a constant reminder of our Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, their spirit, our mission and our Catholic faith.

We are hoping to restore the Chapel to its original splendor, and we need your help.

Thanks to the generosity of many alumnae and OLP parents, we are able to begin some of the work in December, including restoring the original Carrera marble altar, refinishing the wood pews, kneelers and floors, and updating the interior paint.

But, with old buildings comes unforeseen issues and increased costs. We need additional contributions to be able to upgrade the Chapel’s electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.

Can you help us restore our beloved Chapel? Gifts of all sizes are needed and greatly appreciated.
