OLP Retreat Week 2021

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

We are excited to offer our 4th annual OLP Retreat Week experience January 4 - 8, 2021! The OLP retreat program celebrates and is rooted in the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph. Each grade level will explore a unique piece of the CSJ charism. In keeping in line with the OLP safety protocols regarding COVID-19, we have shifted our traditional retreat programming. For each grade-level retreat, there will be virtual programming with one half-day, on-campus retreat. This on-campus experience will include physical distancing and students will stay within their assigned small groups. A virtual option will be available for students who remain in the Virtual Academy.

The purpose of OLP Retreat Week is threefold:

  1. We value the faith formation experience of each student and want to prioritize it with time and attention.
  2. All faculty & staff are able to support the faith experience of our students.
  3. Students are not required to miss valuable instructional class time to participate in OLP retreats and, by occurring prior to the start of the second semester of classes, students will be able to focus solely on their retreat and faith experience.

There are no additional fees to participate in OLP retreats, as all costs are covered through tuition. As such, participation in Retreat Week is considered mandatory for all students, as a regular week of school. Attendance will be taken at all events, both in-person and virtual.

Please read below to learn more about your daughter’s grade-specific retreat experience. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding Retreat Week, please reach out to our Service Learning & Retreats Director, Mrs. Katie Wilson, at [email protected].

God Bless,

Mrs. Jessica Hooper
Assistant Head of School
