Marlena is passionate about providing students with excellent academic instruction and the character formation necessary for global citizenship, social justice and inspiration toward a constructive life purpose. Prior to joining OLP in 2016, Marlena served as the Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction at Notre Dame Academy, as well as the Dean of Students at Cathedral Catholic High School. In addition to her administrative roles, she has taught a variety of subjects at the elementary and high school levels.
The opportunity to witness students fulfill their potential during her 15 years as a Catholic educator has been a perpetual source of inspiration for Marlena. She is excited to be at OLP, as OLP combines the long-standing traditional values of serving the “dear neighbor” while promoting 21st century educational skills. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her husband, Matthew, and her dog, Maya.
