Education & Credentials:
- BFA in Dance from UC Santa Barbara
- BA in Communication from UC Santa Barbara
Kelly Marshall has been teaching dance at OLP since 2017. She has been dancing since the age of two, both recreationally and competitively. She attended Cathedral Catholic High School and was a member of the Varsity Dance Team during her four years there. She continued to pursue dance at UC Santa Barbara, where she received a BFA in Dance and a BA in Communication. As a member of the traveling UCSB Dance Company, she was fortunate enough to be able to dance on tour in New York and Italy. After graduating from UCSB, a scholarship to the Dance Education Laboratory at the 92nd Street Y put her back in New York City, where she continued to learn about the creative art of teaching dance. Being a San Diego native, she wanted to come back home to be closer to family and has been teaching and choreographing throughout Southern California ever since. She is excited to create a dance program that will inspire girls to find strength, individuality and an outlet through dance.
