Harrison Trubitt

Long Term Substitute: Campus Ministry | Head Swim Coach

Harrison was born and raised in San Diego, attending the co-ed Catholic high school in North County. He was an active and enthusiastic “youth ministry kid” known around the Diocese for assorted antics. He would go on to continue his educational journey up at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he majored in English and minored in Religious Studies. He then stayed in SLO for an additional year to earn his Single-Subject Teaching Credential (with emphasis in English and Special Education), student-teach full time, coach a high school swim team, and commute back-and-forth to help out with Confirmation Preparation at a parish in San Diego (don’t even try to do the math – he doesn’t know how he did it either). Since graduating four years ago, he has been serving as the full time Youth Minister (middle school, high school, special education, and young adult) at St. Thérèse of Carmel Catholic Church. Additionally, he has helped organize multiple  Diocesan-wide youth ministry events, is the head coach of the OLP Swim Team, and works with LifeTeen as a ministry coach and consultant.
