Join your OLP sisters for a virtual mixology class! The OLP Alumnae Association is excited to offer an evening to reconnect with friends and learn how to make the best margarita in town. Maurice David-DiMarino, a certified sommelier, cicerone and CRT in tequila for San Diego’s very own Cohn Restaurant Group will join us for this event on Thursday, November 19 at 6:00 pm on Zoom.
Maurice will start off with a demo on how to prepare a skinny margarita followed by a brief conversation about the history of tequila and the origins of the margarita. Maurice will answer questions throughout the event, giving insider tips on how to make the best cocktails. We hope that you can join us.
Maurice, a Saintsman (and brother of Christine Eros '86), is the director of beverages for the Cohn Restaurant Group and oversees 26 restaurants. He teaches several wine intensive courses in the Business of Wine program at SDSU. Maurice loves to share his knowledge by writing in major publications and in his own blog Maurice's Wine Cru. He has traveled all over the world looking for the perfect grape!
