Course Description:
Strength and Conditioning II is for all levels of athletic ability. This course is designed to familiarize students with the principles of strength and conditioning training. Safe, proper lifting techniques and conditioning methods will be taught. Students will develop the knowledge necessary to track their resistance training progress and will experience quality workout sessions in class. Tests and measurements of fitness, strength, conditioning, and progress will be a means of assessment and evaluation. Strength and Conditioning II is encouraged for the athletes whose main competitive season is from August through December.
