Course Description:
This course is a study in genetics from a human perspective. Some of the material covered will include; cytology, Mendelian inheritance, DNA, gene function, genetic engineering, biotechnology, human genetic problems and conditions, evolution, and the Human Genome Project. Lab work will include a variety of short and long term experiments and problems that will reinforce the concepts learned in class.
