Course Description:
The course provides opportunity to participate in a vocal performance ensemble. Students will continue their study of vocal and choral techniques, music history, sight-singing skills and music theory. In addition, students will learn historical, cultural and societal contexts for choral music and composers of choral music. Students will be expected to critique their own performance and that of others. Public performance is required. At the direction of the instructor, students will participate in the liturgical choir at school liturgies.
