CSJ/SSJ Association Meeting

November 4-6, 2015

Our second annual gathering of the CSJ/SSJ Association will be taking place in San Diego, California on Wednesday, November 4 and concluding on Friday, November 6, 2015. This association is comprised of all secondary school President, Principal, Board Chair or similar level Heads of School, sponsored by the Congregation of St. Joseph and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.

The purpose of the meeting is to promote the CSJ/SSJ charism, continue dialogue on forming an association, and grow together in community as we all further propel the Mission of our CSJ/SSJ schools.

Agenda

The Steering Committee is continuing to work on the logistics for the event. Please plan on an early afternoon Wednesday arrival into San Diego to accommodate an early gathering around 4 pm on the campus of the Academy of Our Lady of Peace in San Diego. Our time together is estimated to conclude by noon on Friday, November 6, 2015.

Logistics

Rooms have been put on hold at the Handlery Hotel San Diego. Everyone will be responsible to coordinate their own air transportation, and then transportation to the hotel from the San Diego Airport. Individuals can either choose a taxi cab at approximately $25, or Super Shuttle at $12 a person. Transportation to the school site (meeting venue) will be taken care of via a bus from the Handlery Hotel each day. Your room will be secured through the EventBrite registration page. Do not book your room through the hotel itself.

Payment/RSVP for the rooms will take place on EventBrite. Registration is open now through September 5, 2015. Please note that registration received after September 5, 2015 will be subject to in an increase in price. Please register early to lock-in this incredible rate!

The cost is $250 per person which will includes an individual room, food, and transportation. The cost for a double room is $300 for two people which will include a room with a double, food, and transportation.

We are still working on coordinating the necessary underwriting to help support all food and local transportation costs for this event.

Additional costs for the event, not included in the $250, would be your airfare, personal transportation to the Handlery Hotel from the airport, and should you choose to secure a rent-a-car.
