FAQS

Who Can Participate in OLP Drama Productions?
Any student that attends OLP may audition for our drama productions. Male students from St. Augustine High School and other schools are also encouraged to audition. No previous training, classes or experience is required. All you have to do is come to one of the audition dates. Every student who auditions for the fall musical is guaranteed a part as a chorus member.

Do I Need to Pay Anything to Participate?
We ask that you pay a $20 fee for drycleaning for your costume, and we may ask you to provide your own shoes or tights, or other minor costume pieces.

Where are Schedules for Drama Activities Posted?
Students can find scheduling information for auditions, rehearsals and productions on the Student Drama Calendar web page, and often the calendar will be posted on the auditorium bulletin board and on Jupiter.

Who are the Directors for OLP?
Ms. Kathleen Herb Baker '70 directs all drama productions at OLP and Ms. Katherine Kamrath '71 is the musical director for fall musicals.

How can Parents, Alumni, and Other Interested Adults Help?
We can always use help from parents, alumni and other interested adults for our productions. Donations of money or supplies can be made, and we need help with costumes, make-up, prop acquisition and set creation. Please contact Mrs. Herb Baker if you would like to donate money, supplies or your time.
