Nicaragua Service Immersion: February 18-25, 2017 *Optional Immersion/Application Process with a Fee
Location: Chinandega, Nicaragua

Students will stay at Amigos for Christ, a nonprofit organization that facilitates water, health, education, and economic development in rural Nicaraguan communities. Students will work alongside rural Nicaraguans to improve their community, on projects chosen by the community members. The purpose of this immersion to broaden students’ worldviews as global citizens. Amigos for Christ is  committed to having a positive impact on the standard of living and spiritual life in Nicaragua.This optional immersion is open to 20 students. Senior Immersion Retreat: March 22-24, 2017  *Optional Retreat/Application Process with a Fee
Location: Various locations in downtown Los Angeles

Students will stay at a retreat center in LA. They will serve in several service sites, some of which were founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. The purpose of the retreat is to put our faith into action and to continue to develop our understanding of how Catholic Social Teaching is rooted in service to those around us. This is an optional retreat open to 20 students.


Appalachia Service Immersion: May 28-June 3, 2017 *Optional Immersion/Application Process with a Fee
Location: Center Point, West Virginia

Nazareth Farm is a Catholic community in rural West Virginia that transforms lives through a service-retreat experience. Nazareth Farm is devoted to living out the Gospel message through the cornerstones of community, simplicity, prayer, and service. While living on the farm, students will serve alongside our dear neighbors to address substandard housing by providing home repair. This optional immersion is open to 6 students.
