OLP Athletics

Philosophy of the Department of Athletics

It is the philosophy of the Department of Athletics, as espoused by the Director of Athletics and the entire coaching staff, to foster mutual respect among participants, instill a commitment to excellence within each athlete and to promote team unity, cooperation and self-discipline. Further, individual athletes are encouraged to become the finest athlete possible, learning life-long team-building skills and how to discern the appropriate value of sports.

OLP remains at the forefront of athletic recognition with 20 competitive CIF interscholastic athletic teams and four Club Sport teams.

Physicals

All student-athletes must have a current physical on file and register online prior to any athletic participation, including practice or competition.

If you missed OLP Physical Day on June 10, 2017, you can get a physical through your primary doctor or find a clinic that provides sports physicals. Below are recommendations for physical locations. Please make sure to take the 2017-18 OLP Physical Form with you.

Urgent Care - American Family Care
Walk-ins welcome at the following locations. The receptionist suggests to call before you go to make sure there is a physician on site and to check wait times because they don't take appointments, only walk-ins.
